  • Gemma Arterton Stars in Sony’s ‘Tamara Drewe’

    April 22, 2010 1 min read

Gemma Arterton in 'Tamara Drewe'I’m sorry.  I could not help myself.  Ever since I saw Clash of the Titans, the only actress I have had on my mind is Gemma Arterton.  I probably don’t even have to tell you why, but just in case, check out her photo below.  She’s the only reason why I want to see The Prince of Persia.  Sony Pictures Classics has chosen Facebook to debut Gemma’s first image as the title character in the upcoming romantic comedy Tamara Drewe.  The Stephen Frears directed film will debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May.  Arterton stars as a sexy flirt who returns to her small country village and stirs up dark passions among the locals.  Sounds right up my alley.  I’m already there.  To support Gemma of course!

The film co-stars Dominic Cooper, Roger Allam, Luke Evans, Bill Camp and Tamsin Greig.  There is no release date as of yet, but there is a picture [insert BIG smile].
