We are delighted to introduce two new additions to our renowned X-Series AV receiver range, the AVR-X1500H and AVR-X2500H. Both models combine our legendary audio quality with a state-of-the-art feature set.
Some of the key highlights of the models are Amazon Alexa Voice Control, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X codecs, and whole-home wireless music compatibility via the HEOS platform including AirPlay and Bluetooth streaming. Designed with the customer in mind, the new X-Series receivers feature Audyssey's MultEQ XT room acoustic measurement and calibration system for a professional setup made easy. With the supplied microphone, they precisely analyse the output of each speaker to optimize every channel.
"Denon has an impressive pedigree of AV industry 'firsts'. Major milestones include implementing all three immersive audio formats into one receiver, and full 4K Ultra HD video on all HDMI inputs. As always, we remain fully committed to delivering the latest and greatest technology for everyday consumers, enthusiasts and installers," said Richard Velazquez, global head of brand management at Denon. "The latest X-Series models demonstrate our commitment to leading smart home cinema developments. Amazon Alexa's Smart Home Skill for whole-home audio voice control enables effortless use, an industry-leading setup process reduces out-of-box headaches and all the latest tech reduces near-term obsolescence."
The AVR-X2500H features high-quality discrete high-current amplifiers across each of its seven channels delivering 150 watts of dynamic Denon sound on each, while its 7.2 channel configuration allows for the connection of up to two subwoofers.
Amazon's Alexa allows consumers to use voice commands to control a variety of functions, including power on/off, volume, mute/unmute, music play/pause, external input switching, and playback of supported streaming services. Meanwhile, the on-board HEOS technology lets you enjoy your favourite music in any room of your home wirelessly by simply adding HEOS-enabled speakers around the house.
The receivers also provide 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, Dolby Vision, High Dynamic Range (HDR), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and BT.2020 pass-through support for exceptional visual color, clarity and contrast. Users can connect their favourite media devices and output to one display via six HDMI channels on the X1500H and eight on the X2500H and even two displays simultaneously to switch for example TV and projector. Both units support HDCP 2.2 on all HDMI ports.
