Boasting the Aerofoil Bass Cone from 800 Series Diamond】 All Bowers & Wilkins 700 Series 2 loudspeakers are equipped with the Aerofoil bass cone developed for the brand's flagship 800 Series Diamond. The cone's iconic shape, featuring a continuously variable thickness structure inspired by aerofoils, provides stiffness and rigidity where it's need most, for deep and dynamic bass. In addition, Bowers & Wilkins' patented Flowport design is again used for the reflex port in the bass. It minimises turbulence in the same way as a golf ball. Dimples on the surface generate tiny eddy currents over which air can flow smoothly and silently, reducing turbulence and thus delivering the crystal clear and detail bass sound.
